Consider the following:
1. Is it easy find the information you are looking for?
2. Is it visually interesting?
3. Is it too plain or too busy? (By "busy" I mean too much for your eyes to take in at one time.)
4. Do you want to explore it further?
5. If you wanted to remember the url, would you be able to remember the name and find it again easily?

there are generally visually interesting, especially the one on maritime museum of SD and informations are easy to find.
But i think i won't explore these web pages further.
In my opinion 1,3,4 links interesting and web page was done by specialist, but for me information in a 4th web page were hard to apprehend. It's too busy. As I understand it's the radio, am I right?

1) In my opinion wep pages 1 and 3 are really easy to find the information you are looking for, wep pages 2 and 4 are kind of difficult to do it.
ReplyDelete2) Wep pages 1 and 2 are too basic and the colors are not visually interesting, wep pages 3 and 4 looks organized, so I think they are more visually interesting.
3) Wep pages 1 and 3 are really good, because they are between plain and too busy; wep page 2 its too plain, you can only see videos and something else; and wep page 4 is really busy, too much information for a home page.
4) Not really, I'm not interested in none of this topics, I dont like Jazz, theatre, Mimes or museums, I think they are boring.
5) I dont think so, the names are difficult, maybe I will only remember jazz88 because it has a simple name, but the other ones are too complicated.
im not really intressted in the first three pages, thats because of the topics. the pages one, three and four are well constructed and its easy to find what youre looking for. i like the secound one too. the page must be done by a newbie but, the videos are really funny. do you act in there? :)
ReplyDeletei would reccomend the last page to people who love jazz and the people who like going to events in that category. the url is pretty easy to remember.
The first and the third website is good organized you can find all information you need easily and it seems to be intersting. I would explore it further but I couldn't remember the name of these webpages. The second website is ok, it's a little bit confusing and it's not really made professionally and for me it seems not interssting and I wouln'd explore it more, and after 10min. I would have forgotten the name of that page. The last page is too busy you can't find anything at the first moment. I wouldn't explore it further, because it is too confusing to me.The name of that page is easy to remember, but I would try an other page.
ReplyDeleteThe Maritime Museum of San Diego is a well-formatted website. We can know easily about the history of some ships and other related things. I will return to this page in the future because I like ships and its history.
ReplyDeleteThe Imagination Express is a simplistic website, with to much colors and nom formatted information. It was difficult to know what the principal subject of the page is, and surf in a logical path in the website. But, that is Art!
The San Diego Repertory Theatre – I liked this website. There is no information pollution. The information is dividing by topics and subtopics with a short explanation. What you need to know is in there.
The KSDS has an interesting website. It’s seems to have too much information in each page of the site, but looking more closely, it is a logical well formatted website. It has a large jazz database and it’s growing each day. I will return to listen some of the programs in the site.
With my opinion, the first page was great. I could find everything about the ships in SD in this page and it was also interesting. And I think the fourth page seem so busy. A lot of things to read in this page. And I explored for the first page and the third pages. It was good. I got some information. I can't remember the website and I've not also remembered any pages. If I feel interested with some pages I will use "bookmark" to remember. It's quickly and I won't waste my time to try to remember the page I wanna see.

I think the third link has the best presentation. It’s nice and looks "clean".
The information you need is easy to find.
I think the fourth link is the most complete. It has everything you can need but maybe it's too much I think it going to be harder to know this web site well.
My opinion it's the Rep’s web site is the best because the presentation is clean and is has just enough information.
It's easy to find what youre looking for in the 1st and the 3rd pages, a little bit more confusing for the others.All of them are visually interesting, except that the 2sd one is a little too much empty and the 4th one a little too plain.I really want to visit the maritime museum before leaving so I probably going to visit the website again.

In the other side, the second link is the worst site. The background color makes me confused.
I think the second page is better then others. because actually all those sites are not my cup of coffee. but second page has few videos and that mimes were great~

Because I would be remember the name and find it again easily. The otherhands, 1and 2and 3 are really boring and more less visually. 1 is very difficult for me. And 2 is not interested. And 3 is couldn't fine the information. It is just advertisement about show. So I will explore about "Jazz 88".

2. And I also like the structure of this homepage. It is kept in natural colors and they use beautiful pictures to keep their artless phrasing.
3. This site is neither too plain nor too busy. For me it is in due proportion to each of it.
4. Yes, I thought that I will explore this site further, because I’m a little bit interestes in ships. And I think that the museum deals with a wide offer.
5. In that case I’m able to remember the name of this site. It is clear (and I also add it in my favorites )
Imagine express all-aboard
1. Oh damn, I don’t like these kind of unclear websites. First of all I didn’t know what this site is about. I can’t szand that. And I think they aren’t successful showing their massages.
2. This website is a negative example for “how to build a homepage”. It is unclear, unprofessional and this is highlighted with signal colors. I don’t like the style of lettering and their using of colors.
3. It’s just ugly and I’m not interested what this site is about because of the first impression I got, when I entered this site. I’m absolutely not interested in staying their and explore the site.
4. I like topics of theatre, but maybe I’m superficial in that case, but because of the bad structure I wouldn’t go on reading about this theatre-group, even it wasn’t my homework. If I knew that poor people I would recommend them to adopt help from professionals.
5. No, I wouldn’t be able to remember this name of this homepage. Sorry, but never!

1. It is easy to get and to follow the information of this homepage.
2. Yes, I like the structure of this site and their assortment of pictures.
3. I think that this site has the correct proportion of information. It is neither overcharged nor too plain.
4. Yes, I would explore this homepage further. One reason is that I’m interested doing internship in a theatre
5. And I also able to remember the name of this homepage.

1. It is easily to follow the information on this homepage, but I think that the first impression is “too busy”.
2. It is like I said in point 1. It is not difficulty to follow the information or links, but first of all it looks overcharged. Too much script for my opinion. I think this has to be very difficult, on the one hand you deal with many information, but on the other hand you have to think about how much is enough for those homepage. Because homepages don’t exist for a special interested group but mostly for the commonality.
3. As I said it is a little bit too busy.
4. I don’t think that I will explore this homepage further. I’m not very interested in that topic.
5. But the name is easy to remember. Short and significant.
I can find the information that I looked for in the sites. The sites have visual interesting but I didn’t like the site http://www.ieallaboard.org because this site has not good videos and needs more organization. The site http://www.jazz88.org is a good site but have too much information at the home page. The site http://www.sdrep.org has a visual harmony with soft colors. The site http://www.sdmaritime.org is very organized and has all information that we need with 2 different languages Spanish and English. I want to further explore more these sites but I can not remember the URL and I need to write the correct name of the site to explore again.

And I like the 1st website (The Maritime Museum of San Diego)if you like ancient ships or ship tours, this website can provide you information like videos.On the other hand 2nd and last website ,I don't think this is visually interesting for me.Especially on the 2nd website there are a lot of meanings, so I became confused.

It's a nice presention, it's sound like a old marin diary. it's not too much. it's really good.
