The website is quite interesting because all the pictures are familiar and there is not a lot of information per page. It's really interesting that on the homepage we have a video, but there are too many videos. I think that one is enough on the homepage. It's better to put just one and then to put the main information. The address of this website is quite difficult to remember. It would be better to change it. This website is not really professional. It would be better not to put so many videos on the homepage and not to use so many different colors for the text because it's more difficult to read.
For the athletics, even if there is a lot of information, it's quite easy to find the information I'm looking for because the short links are very helpful. It's not really visually interesting because we see so many different things. However, this website has some great pictures on the homepage. This one is really busy, I dont know exactly where to look. At the beginning, I was a little lost. I think I would explore it further because I'm intersted in sport. This website has to clear its homepage, not to put all the information.
For the hip-hop website, it's easy to find the information I'm looking for. It's really visually interesting because the pictures and the links are good. However, they could add some videos to show us what they do exactly. This is a a young website abd it's too bad that it"s not enough interactiv.

My first impression of the jazz homapage was that there was too many commercials on it. It was too confused.
The Cabrillo National monument seems to be good because of the menu in the right side. You can click on an icon that you wants to know more about.
The Sport site is also too busy I think. There is a lot of commercials on it. But it looks more professional than some of the other homepages.
The hiphop homepage is very good. When I first came to the homepage I knew it was about dance. There isn’t too many pictures on the site and the colors isn’t too strong. It’s good to look at the site because of the colors. It looks easy to surfe on this page.

ReplyDeleteJazz webpage is a very good website for the people who appreciate Jazz because there is a lot of information and the surfers can listen to the radio live. It's a good website and very easy to surf but for me it is not interesting because I don't like Jazz.
Cabrillo National Monument is a very simple web page without beautiful pictures of Point Loma view. It's not visually interesting and the web page should improve a lot because the place is very beautiful and web page is very poor.
The sports page of San Diego State University it is a very good web page, probably the best of the four that I chose. It has a lot of pictures and is very easy to find all the informations and I'm very interested to visit again to know about the sports news.
Imagination Express ALL-ABOARD is a very plain web page with a lot of things to improve such as the graphics and all the web view.

It is easy to see. This site is very simple and plain. URL is simple. So it is easy to remember.
Secondly about All-Aboard. I really hate this site.
Because when I opened this site, I was a little bit blinded.
Those two that is a red and a blue get on with each other on the top of the site. I think if the site change the self-possession color, it would be better than before.
But this site is accompanied by many You-Tube. It is easy to understand.
Cabrillo National Monument Masthead is trifling site, I think.
Because there are details written by tiny letter. In my case, I had sore eyes, while I was looking for articles.

I think this site is not so interesting because there are hardly any pictures and only blurred photos. So I do not have an imagination of the place or thing the site is about. Besides, the style of this homepage is actually not good. There are no colors and too much text to read. After a certain time, everyone will be bored reading this site. However i have to said that pages are too full and the grafic is not very attractive: there are few images and no original effects. Personally i love that you can listen to the music to the site, i think it could be a good reason to visit the site again.
now let's talk about cabrillo national park site.According to me this is not a good site: there are no images even if it's a natural park and so it's important to show what visitors are going to see, there are no informations about how to reach the park, neither the price for the entrace..only history;the pages result empty and boring to watch and read; finnaly it will be impossible to visit the site again because of the difficulty of the url.
instead i like the culture shock dance site very much.
the front page is essential but complete in fact there's everything you need: images, the description of the group, contacts, exc. so it's very easy to find every kind of informations. but i think that the creator forgot to post some videos about dance exhibitions, this could be make the site more pleasant to look at.
Finnaly i decided to speak about the mimes group site, even if i have to say that it's not a good one,in fact there's nothing exept some videos of their shows. so the site is not very interesting.

Because of the white background, the page doesn't look that interesting, but maybe with a little bit more color it would fit better.

You can find a menu with links on the top. That's good. The visualization isn't that fine, because the colors aren't well chosen, but it is good that you find some videos to get an idea of the team. So all in all I didn't get a good impression about the team.

This page has also a menu at the top as the other pages. It has, for me, the best visualization, because the pictures and colors are fine. It seems to be a little bit too busy, because the menu is quite big, so it takes you a long time to look through them. I'm not that interested in museums, so I wouldn't explore it more, but also the url is easy to remember and fits to the page.
As a result I would say, the last page is the best, because everything fits together and represents the museum in a good way.

ReplyDeleteThe information is clear and you can find some interesting things like the San Diego jazz players and the nicer clubs where you can listen to some jazz. But for me something is missing. I would like a small jazz history and a biography of the biggest jazz players like Charlie Parker and Duke Ellington for example.
For the visuals I like this color, it’s more original than black and white and I love the old jazz photos at the top which change.
